Primary School - age 4 to 11

The St. Crispin’s Primary School is a small, thriving environment consisting of Foundation 2 following the Early Years Foundation Stage (grant funded), Years 1 and 2 (Key Stage 1) and Years 3 - 6 (Key Stage 2).  Our children are encouraged to be happy, confident and well mannered whilst achieving their academic potential.

Safety and welfare

  • All external doors are keypad protected
  • Pupils are supervised at all times
  • First aid officer on duty at all times
  • Morning and afternoon registration
  • All infants are handed over or signed out to the parent/carer at the end of the school day
  • Parents are required to introduce adults who will be collecting their child from school
  • St. Crispin's is a school which safe guards children
  • Trips are supervised with the correct ratio of staff to pupils

  • Written reports twice yearly

  • Daily informal meetings on a 'meet and greet' basis at the beginning and end of the day

House points and credits (points are awarded for good wok and manners)

10 points = Merit.15 House Merits = Bronze Award; 25House Merits = Silver Award; 35 House Merits = Gold Award.

De Merits are awarded for continued forgetfulness and anti-social behaviour

The Merit cup is awarded to the house with the most merits at the year end.
