Events At St. Crispin's we offer a wide and varied range of events throughout the school calendar. Three Drama productions take place every year. The infant Nativity and the School Nativity at Christmas and a whole school production in the Summer Term at Prize giving, when all pupils are encouraged to take part and join in the drama, singing and dancing activities. Weekly assemblies take place where pupils rotate to perform an assembly with a 'moral' to the rest of the school. The Summer Fete is an annual event, held in the summer term, where the pupils, staff, friends and families come together to raise money for the school, by running a wide range of traditional and not so traditional stalls. The Art exhibition is an opportunity for the GCSE students to exhibit the best of their work to friends and family, whilst at the same time providing a forum for the rest of the school to show off the outcomes of the themed art competition. Winners are announced on the night. A number of sports events provide parents and families with the opportunity to watch their children's sporting prowess in action; the annual inter-house Swimming Gala is held in the Spring term, the Fun Sports Day for the Primary School and the Official Sports day held in the Summer term. |
